Les Jardins de Cocagne will be in Théding on MARCH 25 and 26 to offer training using one of its educational tools: Simul'ONU.
This tool is a life-size role-playing game in which participants take on the role of delegates from UN member states, to immerse themselves in the world of international diplomacy and major environmental issues. They take part in a realistic simulation of a United Nations General Assembly, where they must defend their country's positions, negotiate with other delegations and work on drafting joint resolutions on a major issue, in our case linked to the ecological transition (e.g. sustainable food, climate change, biodiversity).
¿¿ This immersive approach provides a better understanding of international dynamics, develops oral expression, negotiation and critical thinking skills, raises awareness of environmental and civic issues, and raises awareness of the importance of international cooperation. This tool is suitable for all themes and all ages.
This training course is open to all interested parties: members of environmental education associations, school teachers, or anyone wishing, in turn, to run this educational tool.
Participation fee to be paid on site: 10 €.
