Our Commitments
The Forbach Region Tourist Office meets tourism standards and quality labels, allowing it to operate with efficient organization and provide quality service to tourists and local residents.
Quality Tourism Label
To better satisfy visitors and improve services provided to partners, local stakeholders, the community, or the public, many Tourist Offices have implemented an internal quality approach.
To obtain the QUALITÉ TOURISME brand, the service provider must successfully follow a quality approach that meets the essential requirements for your satisfaction. As a guarantee of trust, services are subject to unannounced and independent inspections.
The brand is therefore the recognition of continuous service quality improvement initiatives implemented in a Tourist Office. An audit is conducted every 5 years with a mid-term review.
The Forbach Region Tourist Office holds the QUALITE TOURISME brand and guarantees you:
- A warm welcome
- Attentive staff
- Proficiency in foreign languages
- Personalized services
- Clear and precise information
- Guaranteed cleanliness and comfort
- Discovering a destination
- Taking your feedback into account
NEW!
The QUALITE TOURISME label is becoming DESTINATION D’EXCELLENCE, and the Forbach Region Tourist Office will renew its label in 2026.
Tourism and Disability Label
Tourisme & Handicap is a state label managed by Atout France, which applies to tourist establishments meeting the specific needs of people with disabilities.
To benefit from the Tourisme & Handicap label, establishments must meet accessibility and welcome criteria that ensure the greatest possible autonomy for people with disabilities.
The label pursues two main objectives:
- to provide reliable and objective information on the accessibility of tourist sites and facilities,
- to develop a tourism offer better adapted to people with disabilities.
The Forbach Region Tourist Office holds the TOURISME et HANDICAP label, guaranteeing a personalized welcome and quality accessibility conditions.
Bicycle-friendly label
A cultural site, or more broadly any visitor or leisure site, can apply for the "Accueil Vélo" label. This national brand, developed by the France Vélo Tourisme association, is also open to tourist accommodations, bicycle rental and repair shops, tourist offices, restaurants, and river ports.
The label certifies the quality of welcome provided to touring cyclists, specifically:
• proximity to a cycling route within 5 km of a route,
• access to equipment adapted for cyclists: secure bicycle shelter, repair kit,
• information and advice,
• dedicated services for cyclists.
The Forbach Region Tourist Office holds the ACCUEIL VELO label, guaranteeing a personalized welcome for cyclists.
Category 2 Classification
A Tourist Office classified as Category II corresponds to a medium-sized structure operating in a geographical area representative of a homogeneous and coherent tourist catchment area.
Its team is necessarily led by a manager or a director.
The structure offers a wider range of services than those of Category III offices, capable of generating its own resources.
A Category II Tourist Office develops a targeted promotional policy and implements customer feedback tools designed to improve the quality of services provided and those of its partners operating within its geographical area of intervention.
The Forbach Region Tourist Office holds the CATEGORY 2 Tourist Office classification.
