The idea first took shape in March 2026.<\/p>\n
Its implementation has recently gained momentum, thanks to the efforts of the Stiring-Wendel Municipal Employees\u2019 Association, the event\u2019s organizer, represented by its president, Herv\u00e9 Grosius. To quickly bring the project to life, the association partnered with two
\nco-organizers: L\u2019Eau Blinger, with its events division AUZ\u00c9AU, and V and B Forbach.
\nThe three teams came together around a shared goal: to offer an event that starts in
\nthe afternoon and makes people want to stay until evening. The initial plan called for a brewers\u2019 fair, followed
\nby a beer festival. Given the preparation time and organizational requirements for that format, the decision
\nwas made to hold an evening food and drink market, open to artisans and exhibitors from the culinary arts.
\nA market to discover the world of flavor
\nThis market was designed to allow visitors to discover products, meet the people who
\nmake them, and take the time to chat. In particular, the organizers wanted to bring in
\nexhibitors whom the industry\u2019s audience doesn\u2019t often have the chance to encounter. This was a way to introduce new
\ndiscoveries to this first edition, while preserving the warm, welcoming spirit of a neighborhood market.
\nSeveral brewers were involved in the initial discussions. A few will ultimately be part of this
\nfirst edition, alongside other food and beverage professionals. The organizers are delighted by their presence and
\nthank those who were able to join the project. Brewing expertise thus retains its place at this
\ngourmet event, designed to welcome a broad audience.
