Parish fete
To celebrate European Heritage Days, the Forbach Völklingen Organ Festival is hosting a culinary walking tour titled “Heritage in Music” on Sunday, September 20, starting at 11:30 a.m. at Saint-Rémi Church. The program features a 2.5-kilometer walk to visit five historic sites in Forbach: Saint-Rémi Church, the Burghof, the Protestant Church, the Conservatory, and the Sainte-Croix Chapel. At each stop, participants will enjoy a historical overview, a musical performance, and a course of the meal (appetizer, entree, main course, cheese, and dessert). The musical performances will be provided by the Dames du Petit Chœur, Lorène Gédor (alto), Anne Chebenbeg (harp), and Thierry Ferré (organ).
Two options are available: non-alcoholic for €20 and alcoholic (3 drinks) for €30. Payment is due upon reservation before September 14 at 06 23 58 81 96. Limited seating.
